Dell 1320c Laser Printer Not Working with Windows 10, Paper Out / Tray Problem

Check to ensure that you are using a USB 2.0 port to the printer and not a USB 3.0 Port, change if necessary.

Windows 10 installs the HBP driver, but a working one is found at

Select the Operating System “Windows 10, 64-bit”, then goto

Drivers for OS Deployment (1 file)
1320c_DRV_ENG_01-01-06-00_01-01-06-00.exe | ALL (9 MB)

Select and download the file and when asked to unpack the driver, save it to a convenient place (suggest User/Downloads/a new folder) on your hard drive and note this location.

To replace the non-working printer driver that Windows 10 offers you (the 1320c HBP version) then go to

Control Panel / Devices and Printers / Right click on the printer and select Printer Properties / Advanced Tab / New driver / Next / Have Disk
Go to the Device Manager / Printers /1320C and then Update Driver, Have Disk

In either case, browse to the place you have the unpacked driver then click through the sub-folders / English / Drivers / and then select either the 64 bit folder (win_x64) or the 32bit folder (win_x86) and click on Open then OK , Next and Finish.

Turn the printer off, wait 60 seconds, and then on again to remove the paper error and then do a test print. This worked for us.

To install the Dell Printer’s Monitor window, use the same Dell Product Support Page above but select the Application (1 file)
